Hello, I’m Shivaji, and I’m a fan of taking scenic strolls… leading to my wine cellar!
As an ACCA, I bring over a decade of diverse experience to the table, spanning both industry and public practice. My background includes working in sectors like technology, retail, and wholesale. In terms of practice, I’ve honed my skills in cloud accounting, financial reporting, assurance, and corporate tax.
During my time in the industry as a corporate controller, I played a key role in developing stronger internal accounting processes and led accounting teams to maximize efficiency in our department.
My expertise also extends to corporate accounting, where I’ve dealt with tasks such as month-end and year-end closing process, implementation of accounting platforms, liaising with external auditors and third-parties, and implementing processes and procedures for internal controls.
Additionally, I have developed skills in external auditing and corporate tax across various industries like retail, professional practices, small business, independent contractors, and not-for-profit organizations.
Outside of work, I love attending networking events and am deeply passionate about environmental sustainability and wildlife conservation.
